Vice President Mike Pence and House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy are scheduled to hold a luncheon fundraiser in Newport Beach on Monday, according to Republican National Committeeman Shawn Steel. Steel and his wife, county Supervisor Michelle Steel, are among co-hosts for the event.
The Pelican Hill Country Club event is part of a swing through California to raise money for California Victory 2018, a joint fundraising committee formed to support seven of the state’s Republican Congress members who’ve been targeted by Democrats. Source
