23 JUNE 2018 CHINA BUS CRASH 3 DEAD 7 INJURED 


On June 23, 33 teachers from eight schools in Shaoguan District, went to Zhuhai for exchange studies. When the teachers used the bus to drive to Qingyuan, they turned over on the expressway. Three people were killed in the accident and seven were injured and sent to the hospital. Source

8 JULY 2018 TURKEY TRAIN CRASH DOZENS KILLED



At least ten killed and dozens hurt as train carrying 300 passengers towards Istanbul crashes off collapsed bridge in northwestern Turkey 

Ten people were killed and 73 injured in a train crash in northwest Turkey today.  The train, carrying 362 passengers, came off the rails in northwest Turkey after heavy rain and a landslide on to the tracks, officials said.   State news agency Anadolu said five wagons came off the tracks in a region near the Greek border.  'There are a large number of injured and we have fatalities,' Tekirdag governor Mehmet Ceylan told the NTV channel, without giving a figure.   'The accident happened because of adverse weather conditions,' he added.  Source

BREAKING A Convair C-131 has crashed near Pretoria, South Africa 

A plane has crashed near Pretoria, South Africa. The plane involved could be an old Convair C-131 (reg. ZS-BRV) recently repainted in the classic livery. The plane was supposed to fly to the Aviodrome Lelystad in the Netherlands.  An aircraft crashed outside the South Africa’s capital Pretoria on Tuesday, injuring 20 people with at least one in a critical condition, emergency medical services ER24 said on Tuesday. The Convair C-131 Samaritan was an American twin-engined military transport produced from 1954 to 1956 by Convair. It was the military version of the Convair CV-240 family of airliners.  The crash happened outside Wonderboom, close to the N1 and Phumulani Toll gate.  Source
