A 38-year-old man sitting in his car has been killed and three others injured after a 20-story high construction crane came crashing down in a blustery snowstorm in lower Manhattan this morning.
The crane, at 57 Worth Street near Church Street and West Broadway in Tribeca, was being lowered and secured when it plummeted at 8:24am, clipping two buildings as it fell on a line of parked cars.
Another victim was trapped in a vehicle, but they have been rescued, authorities say. Two were seriously injured along with one firefighter. All three have been taken to Bellevue Hospital Center. Daily Mail Read More>>>>
